Class II type A2: It recirculates 70% of HEPA filtered laminar air while 30% passes through system exhaust HEPA to ambient.

Biosafety cabinet class II type B2 (100% exhaust)

Class II type B2: This is single pass system. It exhausts 100% of HEPA filtered air from the system to ambient.
