A Jet Mill (Micronizer) Isolator is a high-containment enclosure specifically designed to safely carry out micronization (ultra-fine particle size reduction) of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) using a jet mill, while protecting both the operator and the product. In pharmaceutical manufacturing, jet milling is used to achieve particle sizes as small as 1-10 microns, especially for high-potency APIs (HPAPIs).
